After researching the art and personal life of Jesus Soto, I felt very inspired to begin my collection. I grew up looking at his work admiring him as an artist. It drew my attention when I found out that this Venezuelan artist was Born In Ciudad Bolivar and became a unique modern artist of kinetic art. For my collection, I combined the modern inspiration from Soto's art for the silhouettes of my garmernts, and using raw textures and experimenting handmade knitting inspired by the indigenous of my country, Venezuela.  

My inspiration for this collection are these sculptures made by Julia Dault. Here are some of my sketches. This is my process of working and the way I think. For me, sketching is my comfort zone. I feel I can express my point of view and enjoy what I love most, designing clothing. The predominant colors for this collection are bronze, silver, gold and black.
